Chief Executive Officer - Andrew Hickey

Andrew joined InterMed in September 2009 in the position of KCI Business Manager after previously being with KCI Australia for 6 years latterly in the position of National Reimbursement Business Development Manager. Prior he was a Regional Sales Manager responsible for New South Wales, ACT and South Australia. On 11th October 2010, Andrew was promoted to the position of CEO of InterMed Medical Ltd. Andrew holds qualifications in Applied Sciences and a MBA from the University of Newcastle.

Director – Operations and Business Development - Ryan Shea

Ryan joined InterMed in December 2012 and brings a wealth of experience in developing and executing growth strategies across multiple business units and in a range of different health care environments. Ryan previously worked for Baxter Healthcare and Teva Pharmaceuticals in Canada. He holds Bachelor degrees in Economics and English, as well as a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada.

Director of Finance - Ryan Stuart

Ryan joined InterMed in July 2016. From a Chartered Accountancy background, Ryan started his career with a mid-sized CA firm in Auckland before going on to gain his CA professional qualification in 2007.  Ryan has held a variety of commercially focused finance roles. During his time at advisory firm, Corporate Financial Ltd, he worked in complex business environments such as business turnarounds and receiverships and had exposure to a broad range of commercial issues in many different industries. Prior to joining InterMed he was Financial Controller at Accor Hotels Group.

Corporate Accounts Director (ANZ) & Country Manager (AU) - Ben Darling

Ben joined InterMed in March 2013 as the first employee of InterMed Australia. Ben brings with him strong sales management experience and a deep understanding of the Australian health care sector. Ben previously worked for Covidien Australia, where he successfully managed sales teams in the surgical space and at KCI Medical, where he held several business development & sales management roles.
